What is my student responsible for in chorus?

Singers must practice their music outside of normal rehearsals. This is a requirement.

Chorus members are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances. Our field trips are optional, however, require the attendance of at least 20 students.

Multiple unexcused absences may result in being asked to leave the chorus. An
excused absence is a note from parents explaining that their child was unable
to attend rehearsal, concert or event.

How does the grading system work in Recorder Class?

Please see the grading rubrics attached to the 'Photos/Docs' portion of the
website.

Every child is responsible for bringing their recorder and music folder to
class each week.

Students are not allowed back to the classroom to get their recorder if forgotten.

Students who forget their recorder will use a pencil in place of their
instrument--this ensures their fingerings will stay consistent and up to date.

Students who forget their recorder receive a lower grade in effort.
