June 7th
Steps to Respect is over for the 2009 - 2010 school year. We will begin again
next September and will look for parent volunteers. To our parent volunteers
who showed up religiously, THANK YOU! We could NOT do it without you!
Also, a big THANK YOU to Mrs Patel who was the sub for Mrs. Benson. She did a
great Job!

Students from Masco will be speaking with out 6th graders about the transition
to the Junior High.

Maricruz Lora from the District Attorney's Office Spoke to the 6th graders
about Cyber-bullying.

The 6th graders heard a presentation by Mrs. Pearsall on nutrition and body image.

Today the sixth graders heard a presentation by Ms. Dunham on Self Esteem.
Ms. Dunham is a Boxford Resident, Parent and author.

Ms. Doreen Harris gave a presentation to the sixth graders on Harassment.

October 28th
The 6th grade had a presentation delivered by the Essex County District
Attorney's Office today on
Cyber Safety. Please ask them about it.

Because of the 6th grade "Guest Speakers," we can NOT push back the Steps to
Respect Program. If there is no school, Team Time will be canceled. (Sorry)
We need at least 6 parent volunteers for each Grade level for grades 3
through 5 (More would be better!). 3 or 4 Parent Volunteers for Grade 6 will
be Great. It is OK to just show up. We would prefer to have smaller groups
for discussion. No one will be turned away. All Volunteers must have a CORI
check in progress. THANKS!
