I have been the Physical Education Teacher at the Spofford Pond School since
February 1977! This is my 33rd year at the Spofford Pond School (yes, I am
old!).
I have been an Assistant High School Hockey Coach and Freshman Football
Coach in the past. Since 1988 I have conducted PE workshops for the Education
Department/Graduate Education Department at Merrimack College as an Adjunct
Lecturer.
I also help present the "Steps to Respect" Program with Mrs. Benson. I
enjoy working with young people and look forward to working with the
children in my classes.
We meet once per week for 45 minutes. It is very important that the
students are prepared with Sneakers and appropriate clothing. We will work
on physical skills and fitness as well as such personal skills as
cooperation, leadership, and listening skills. My goal is to direct the
students toward seeking some type of physical activity on their own.
