Report cards will be sent home on Monday, December 7th. Conference slips have
gone home and been returned. Your time is circled with O.K. If you meed to
cancel please call as soon as possible and leave a message. I will be happy to
reschedule or to have a telephone conference.
Please check agendamates once in a while. Red circles indicate missing work.
One or two is not cause for alarm. A repeated pattern of red circles is cause
for a conversation. Homework is not too heavy so if your child is spending
hours on it we need to talk.The country assignment is very different this
year. It will continue for the entire year and sections are assigned in
manageable pieces.
We are exchanging postcards with other sixth graders in the Tritown. I am very
proud of the finished products that we have sent to Middleton and Topsfield.We
will exchange cards several more times before meeting together at Masco in the
spring. This is a great curriculum/ social network connection for sixth graders.
The social studies binder is important for a successful year. Please
encourage your student to bring it back and forth each day.
