Pink and Denim Day ( 10/28) is a small visual gesture to show support of
cancer research. Students are invited to wear pink and denim to school and
bring a monetary donation for the cause. The color pink reflects support of the
cause and has no gender. Please encourage your boys to wear something pink that
day. Ribbons will be available for students who have no pink in their wardrobe.
Please check agendamates once in a while. Red circles indicate missing work.
One or two is not cause for alarm. A repeated pattern of red circles is cause
for a conversation. Homework is not too heavy so if your child is spending
hours on it we need to talk. The country assignment is very different this
year. It will continue for the entire year and sections are assigned in
manageable pieces.
The social studies binder is important for a successful year. Please
encourage your student to bring it back and forth each day.
