Weekly Homework:
Reading: All students should be reading 30 minutes each night and recording
it in their Reading Logs. Logs are due on Friday and needs to have at least 2
hours of reading and signed by a parent/guardian.
Spelling: Spelling is assigned each week and one page of the lesson is given
each night. The lesson is due on Thursdays.
Vocabulary (Wordly Wise) Vocabulary is assigned each week unless it's a
shortened week. I break the lesson into manageable chunks so that the
children don't get overwhelmed.
Mon. - Part A
Tues. - Parts B & C
Wed. - Part D & 1/2 of E
Thurs. - Finish Part E and study for quiz
Fri. - Vocab quiz
note: I do generally give the students their Wordly Wise books back before
they leave on Friday, so they can get ahead if they choose over the weekend.
