Supply List


School Year 2008-2009

Supplies for School
One durable two-pocket folder (plastic or "poly" folders are the most durable)
A 3-ring binder -no larger than 1 inch size
A package of white lined paper (3 hole punched)
A graph paper notebook
Several mechanical pencils with extra lead (you may get regular pencils but please sharpen them before you get to school)
1-2 pens in a color other than blue or black for correcting
At least 1 highlighter
A small pencil container (This container should be as small as possible, but still be able to hold all of your supplies.)
Small pocket dictionary
Box of soft tissues to share with the class
Independent Reading Book: You need to have an independent reading book with you at all times. You may borrow books from the classroom or school library or you may bring books from home.
Snack: We have snack each morning. You may bring a healthy snack/drink each day for morning snack.

Optional
Markers or colored pencils (There will be a shared community supply of art materials in the classroom.)
A pair of slippers or change of slip on shoes to wear in the classroom when it is muddy outside. (These can be kept in your locker.)
USB Flash drive (keychain size) A flash drive will enable you to work on projects at home and at school without losing having to retype or email documents back and forth between school and home.
A book cover. (You may purchase a book cover or I will teach you how to make one with a paper shopping bag.)
