School Schedule Announcement:  Tuesday, March 20th, 2012 will be a full day of classes for all Quincy Public School students at the elementary level, except those in pre-school.This will ensure that all students in Grade 4 have sufficient time to complete the Long Composition portion of the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS).  School lunches will be served on that day and a full-day bus schedule will be in place.

Pennies for Patients:  Thank you to all our classes and families for the generosity in
the recent drive to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.   Special thanks to parent Debbie Dyer for coordinating the drive and to all the parent volunteers for supporting this effort. Congratulations to Ms. Kelley's class for being the top class( an amazing $303.78) and winning a pizza party!  Also noted is our 5th grade classes for raising over $500 and to the school for what we believe is an all time high $2,381.89.  Thank you again for supporting this great cause!

BoxTops for Education: Thank you for participating in the Box Tops for Education Program as we just received a mid year check for over $500. Special thanks to parent Maura Mayo for volunteering her time to managing this ongoing effort. Truly appreciated and keep on clipping!

Read Across America Challenge:  The race is on to rebuild the Truffula Forest. Please remember to complete and return your book logs as we work to plant 2,500 trees across America this month. With every slip you will win a prize.
