What We'll Be Doing

In the 1st grade students will:

. Socially greet with confidence
. Continue on learning phrases related to class activities and daily life
. Learn to connect words into phrases
. Be able to name the seven days of a week
. Be able to write simple characters
. Learn how to write with ink and brush
. Be able to recite an ancient, but simple poem and understand the meaning of it
. Be introduced to “Pin -Yin”, the Chinese Romanized phonetic system
