Count on God
Count your blessings instead of your crosses,
Count your gains instead of your losses,
Count your joys instead of your woes,
Count your friends instead of yur foes,
Count your smiles instead of your tears,
Count your courage instead of your fears,

Count your kind deeds instead of your mean,
Count your health instead of your wealth,

A Student's Prayer
God of Light and Truth, thank You for giving me a mind that can
know and a
heart that can love. Help me to keep learning every day of my
life, for all
knowledge leads to You. Let me be aware of Your presence in all
things and
at all times. Encourage me when work is difficult and when I am
tempted to
give up; encourage me when my brain seems slow and the way
forward is
difficult. Grant me the grace to put my mind to use exploring
the world You
have created, confident that in You there is wisdom that is
real. Amen
Prayer for Courage
Lord, put courage into my heart, and take away all that may
hinder me
serving You. Free my tongue to proclaim Your goodness, that all
may
understand me. Give me friends to advise and help me, that by
working
together our efforts may bear abundant fruit. And, above all,
let me
constantly remember that all my actions are in vain unless they
are guided
by Your hand. Amen
Steer Me, Lord
Steer the ship of my life, good Lord, to Your quiet harbour,
where I can be
safe from the storms of sin and conflict. Show me the course I
should
take. Renew in me the gift of discernment, so that I can always
see the
right direction in which I should go. And give me the strength
and the
courage to choose the right course, even when the sea is rough
and the waves
are high, knowing that through enduring hardship and danger in
Your name, we
shall find comfort and peace. Amen.
St. Theresa's Prayer
St. Theresa’s Prayer
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are
exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the
infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those
gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been
given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of
God.... Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your
soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for
each and every one of us.
Daily Prayer to Jesus
Jesus, my God and Savior
Each day you call me to love and
Serve others. Help me to
Understand what I must do
So that I might be with You in heaven.
Grace Before Meals
Bless us O Lord, and these your gifts which we are about to receive from your bounty through Christ Our Lord. Amen
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now,and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Decade Prayer
Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.
