Saxon Math sheets are usually done on Monday through Thursday. The "B" side
is the homework side. Every once in a while, there will also be another
paper for homework that is language oriented.
Today the children began their SPELLING notebooks. On some Mondays they will
write new words for the week. They will also have a written paper for
homework. It is another "P.S." paper. Please DO NOT write in their spelling
book. We will do different language oriented activities in school to drill
the words presented on a weekly basis. Please feel free to do any sort of
activity at home to encourage/strengthen your child in learning how to spell
words.
The children now have their VOCABULARY notebooks. All words that are circled
should be studied frequently, if not daily. Please sign the back of the book
each day it is studied. Only 1 signature per day.
