Classroom Behavior:  Please refer to Handbook

Instructional Strategies/Assessments:
Modeling, Explanation of Examples/Procedures on board,
Individual Conferencing
Students do board work/seatwork (many times using cooperative learning)
oral quizzing, board work. seatwork, homework, observation, quizzing, testing

Grading Policy:
 Tests	    50%       
 Quizzes    30%
 Homework   20%

Any paper (Test, Quiz, Homework) with a grade less than 70% must be signed by 
a parent/guardian and returned the next school day, or a detention will be 
issued.

Late Work and Make-Up Work:  Please refer to Handbook  

Homework Policy:  Grades 7 and 8 have a Zero Homework Policy. Please refer to 
Handbook, p.26.

Extra-Help:   Before school by appointment 
                       During available recesses
                       After School from 3:00-3:45 on Thursday
