I was a student at St. Augustine School, too! I graduated in 1993 and have
had some teachers you may know: Mrs. Nancy, Mrs. Hemeon, Mrs. Poulin, Mrs.
Ferguson, Mrs. Brown, Ms. Doherty, and Mrs. Rex.
I am the oldest of five children. My siblings are: Linda (27), David (19),
Michael (15), and Andrew (11)
I have two college degrees:
2001 B.S. Communications, Endicott College
2005 M.Ed. Elementary Education (1-6), University of Massachusetts at Lowell
I am certified by the state of Massachusetts to teach grades 1-6. I am
currently working toward my professional license.
Before I became a teacher I worked as a news writer at WHDH-TV Channel 7
(Boston), a receptionist at an English/Spanish radio station, and an editor &
administrative assistant at an Internet start-up.
In my free time I enjoy writing, taking walks, going to the gym, scrapbooking,
helping animal shelters, reading, watching movies, and looking for bargains.
I live in Haverhill with my husband and cat. I am happy to announce the newest
addition to the family: Luke Evans Murphy born Saturday, February 21, 2009 at
8:51 a.m, 7 pounds 15 ounces, 20 inches long.
