Birthday Book Club

 Dear Parent,

Below is a sample of the letter you will be recieving the month before your
child's birthday, explaining how the Birthday Book Club works.

St. Augustine Birthday Book Club

Dear Parent,

Your child’s birthday is quickly approaching. In celebration of this
occasion, the Birthday Book Club, with your help, will add a book to the
school library in your child’s honor. A bookplate will be placed in the book
with your child’s name, birth date, and grade. A color photo is also
available to children in grades K-5. If you want your 6th, 7th, or 8th
grader’s photo to be taken, please state so below. You may either donate a
hardcover book ( see attached sheet for suggestions for each grade) or you
may make a donation and an age-appropriate book will be available in the
library for your child to choose.

Sincerely,

Mercedes Guiance
Beth Anne Maresca
