SS Grade 7: Hmmm....maybe a quiz Friday??? Lesson 10-2??? It would be a good
idea to go over it. Questions p. 319 #2-6 due Friday.
SS Grade 8: Roosevelt Discussion questions due Friday. We will continue to
work on the chapter 21 assessment questions in class...they are not for
homework. Improved brochure due next Friday 3/26. Finish your Take home
Review word scramble.
Language Arts: Long term Vocabulary.
Report Cards: Must be signed and returned by Friday. Report cards not
signed and returned by then will result in a phone call home and a detention.
Thanksgiving Thursday and Foster a Baby Friday! Don't forget!
We will be taking a practice test Friday as well as filling out test grids.

SS Grade 7: Finish reading Lesson 10-2 pp. 314-319. Complete guided Reading
worksheet 10-2 double-sided. This will be due Wednesday, March 17th.
SS Grade 8: Read the Theodore Roosevelt packet and complete the Presidential
Trivia page. Many of the answers can be found in the packet and/or text.
Please include your sources for any answers not found in packet or text.
Language Arts: Grammar p. 283 Ex. 26, 27, 28 #1-5 in each. Please write
out the inverted sentences for Ex. 28 and underline the subject and verb.
Keep up with your vocabulary long term assignment.
NO ACADEMIC BOWL BEFORE SCHOOL TOMORROW. There will be NO Leadership meeting
this Wednesday at recess/lunch. Taco Tuesday tomorrow! Remember to wear
your P.E. t-shirt with sweats or jeans and sneakers tomorrow.

SS Grade 8: Current Events due Monday. Quiz Lesson 21-4 Monday. Paragraph
comparing the views of Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois. Remember to
include a topic sentence followed by supporting sentences and examples that
show and back what you are writing.
Language Arts: Vocabulary Review pages 138-149 will be due Thursday, March
25th. NO LATE GRADES WILL BE ACCEPTED, especially with this long term notice
given. Detention and a quiz grade of 0% will be given if you do not have the
assignment the date it is due. The 1-12 Unit test will be Tuesday, March
30th.
If you did not bring in your hot dog money, please do so by Monday!
Remember, Monday is Bad Hair/Clash Day! Also, remember it's "Macaroni
Monday"! Bring your pasta, etc. :)

brownies, etc.). Lazarus House in seriously in need! There are 15 children
