The Leadership Team is St. Augustine School's version of student
government. The process to elect the 2010-2011 Leadership Team will begin
early in October. Students are elibible to be a part of the leadership Team
if they are in Grades 5 through 8. In Grades 5 and 6, one representative may
be elected per homeroom to total 4 representatives. In Grades 7 and 8, there
will be 2 representatives per homeroom to total 8 representatives. In Grades
7 and 8, the process will be 1 elected representative and 1 appointed
representative per homeroom. All students will give a speech to their class,
and take part in an interview as part of the process. More information will
follow.
To the Leadership team: Wishing you all a wonderful, realxing, Holy
Christmas. Enjoy your families! You did a wonderful job running the bake
sale and raffle and involving your classmates in the whole project. Mrs.
Henretta and I shopped together for gift cards, food, etc. for the families.
Please know that you helped 9 families to have a special Christmas. Please
know we are so proud of you and your classmates! Please share this messsage
with your class.

There will be no Leadership meeting Thursday, February 2nd. You will meet at
that time on Friday instead so you can gather/collect the food from the
clasrooms and pack it up for the Lazarus House Shelter. Caitlyn is putting
together a classroom checklist so everyone has the opportunity to collect
some food.
