Hello and welcome back everyone! I hope you had a fun-filled and relaxing
summer vacation. This year I'm excited to continue utlizing all the fantastic
materials of our Scott Forsemman's Reading program. After having initiated
the program last year, we all have gained great experiences and are thrilled
to continue with all of the program's fabulous aspects, allowing for each
child to be achieve success in Reading!
We at St. Augustine will also continue with our "Character Counts" program
and all the teachers will be teaching specific values (5 themes) throughout
the academic year. For the months of September and October we all will
learning and practicing what RESPECT sounds and looks like. We feel that
RESPECT is the foundation where all other values rely upon. You will see
specific quotes, sayings and/or poems that will remind all of us what RESPECT
means throughout the school.
