PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND IN YOUR CHILD'S T-SHIRT.  WE NEED THEM THIS WEEK FOR OUR PROJECT OR THEY WILL NOT HAVE ONE FOR THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.

WE NEED GOODIES FOR THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.  WE ARE LOOKING FOR DUNKIN DONUTS AND MA'S DONUTS, BOX OF JOE (DECAF AND REGULAR) AND A CAKE!

Please start thinking about our last day of school t-shirt.  We will need a white t-shirt for each child.  You can buy them at AC Moore or any craft store.  We will be making a t-shirt that they will wear for the last day of school performance.  Please remember to label their t-shirt on the tag.

Our last day of school is June 7th.  On this day,  we will give a presentation to the parents.  We will perform with Preschool 1 and Preschool 2 on the stage in the gym!  That means that the MWF class and the T-TH classes will need to be in school on Thursday, June 7th for our presentation.  There is no school on June 8th because kindergarten will be graduating this day.    Please make your plans to celebrate our last day!  You will not want to miss it!  We usually provide a slideshow for our parents this day.  Our last day of school will be from 8:00am-11:15am.  Our performance will begin around 9:00am this day.  After the performance we will be celebrating with breakfast snacks.  If you are interested in bringing in Ma's donuts, Dunkin Donuts, juice boxes, coffee, water, a cake, or snacks for this day, please let me know.  Thanks so much!

Lifetouch spring photos are here!  They will be sent home soon!  Some are going home today.  Please remember to send them back if you are not going to buy them.  If you are going to buy them, you need to send in a payment.  If you are only buying one or two sheets please send a payment for those and send any sheets you don't want back too.  Please return by April 30th.

IT IS THAT TIME AGAIN: SATURDAY AT 6:30PM WE WILL BE PERFORMING!
Every year in May we have a fabulous talent show in our gymnasium.  I usually have my class perform a song for you.  This years talent show is May 4th and 5th at 6:30pm.  We would only perform in one of these shows.  We always perform around 6:30pm and in the past it has been on the Saturday.  Please send me an email and let me know if you will be able to attend asap.  I want to make sure I will have most of the class available for this show.  I am working with Mrs. Kalisz who does a wonderful job putting on the show and so I need your help to get things rolling.  Thanks.



DON'T FORGET TO ORDER YOUR TICKETS FOR THE TALENT SHOW!

TALENT SHOW COSTUMES WILL BE SIMPLE.  I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE CHILDREN JUST WEAR A BEAUTIFUL OR HANDSOME OUTFIT.  EASTER OUTFIT MAYBE?

PLEASE BE HERE ON SATURDAY NIGHT AT 6PM.  BRING THE CHILDREN TO THE CLASSROOM AND WE WILL WAIT HERE WITH THEM UNTIL WE ARE CALLED TO PERFORM.  WE WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST ACTS TO PERFORM.  DOORS WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 6PM FOR SEATING.  IT FILLS UP FAST SO PLEASE GET HERE EARLY FOR A GOOD SEAT.

We will be doing a project for spring.  Could you please send in a baby photo of your child and a recent photo of your child that we can cut and keep for our project.  I need a picture of their cute face.  Their face needs to be the size of a quarter or a half dollar.  Please send this in as soon as possible.Don't forget your child must wear sneakers for gym on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The "Covers for Kidneys" collection has ended.  We did a wonderful job supporting dialysis patients.  You do not need to send in covers anymore.  If this changes, I will be sure to let you know.  Thanks so much!

Very important news:  Mrs. Leblanc will be out until further notice.  We will also be loosing Mrs. Araujo.  She will be moving to the first grade class to help them.  Starting next week, Mrs. Pinto will ber working with us.  I am trying to introduce the children to Mrs. Pinto this week slowly so that the children can start getting used to her.  It will be a little chaotic at first but we will be ok with Mrs. Pinto working with us M-F.  It will just be an adjustment period for the children and for Mrs. Pinto.  Thanks so much for your understanding on this matter.

Please remember to replace your child's spare clothes if they needed to use them due to an accident.

If your child is extended day before school, please remember to put your child's lunch money or milk money in their lunch box along with the food for the day.  When they get to class we will check their lunch box for the lunch money.  

Please make sure you put your child's lunch money in a plastic zip lock lunch bag and make sure their name is on it and what kind of milk they would like.  There is NO longer a choice of strawberry milk but there is a choice of coffee, chocolate or plain.  When your child gets to school, have them place the plastic zip lock bag in the manila envelope located next to the sink in the classroom.

Please remember to label all your child's clothing you send to school including coats, sweatshirts, hats, mittens.  Sometimes the children do not remember which items are their items.  So PLEASE label everything.  Please remember to send in 2 pairs of clothes for the children in case of an accident or a messy lunch like sloppy joe.  :)

This is just a reminder to everyone.  The Small Wonders classroom does not
open until 8:00am.  If you are bringing your child to school before 8:00am,
they must be checked into the extended day program.  Waiting in the hallways
in the morning is not allowed at St. Francis.  Please be courteous and make
sure you are checking into extended day if you arrive before 8:00am.  The
extended day program is $3.00 an hour.  If you do not want to check your
child into extended day before 8:00am then please arrive between 8-8:15am
and no earlier.  The other teachers do not allow the students into the
classroom until 8:00am.  The parents are not allowed to come into the
building at all.  Therefore, it is a privilege that you are allowed to come
into the building and drop off your child at 8:00am.  Please keep this in
mind so that we may be able to keep this privilege for the littles ones
since this works best for them.  Also, please remember if there is no
teacher present, then you are not to enter the classroom unless a teacher is there and says it is ok to do so.

If your child attends the morning extended day program, please remember to put your child's lunch money in their lunch box so that we can spot it quickly to order their lunch or milk. 

Our lunch money envelope is located to the right of the sink in the classroom.  If your child wants hot lunch or milk, please put the lunch money in a plastic ziplock bag with the child's name and what the child wants to eat.  When you get to class, place it right into the envelope.  This will make it easier to send the money to the lunch lady.  Thanks.

Please be considerate of others and keep your child home if they
are not feeling well. Preschool adheres to SFX's sickness policy.  We have
no means to take care of a sick child.  If your child is not feeling well,
has had vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hrs, has a temp of 99 or
higher, a deep or continuous cough or thick, runny, messy nose, please keep
your child home.  If your child appears to have these symptoms in school you
will be called to pick your child up.  Thank you to all parents for their
cooperation in this matter!!!!
