This month in December:
We will be talked about the true meaning of Christmas. We will be talking
about Advent and the Advent wreath and what it means. The children have
already begun learning about Jesus' birthday and the events that took place
that led up to Jesus being born on christmas Day. We have already watched a
movie that gave them a good idea about how Jesus was born. We have been
reading an advent book to help us understand what its all about. We made
angels. The angel came to Mary and told her she would have a baby named
Jesus and so we started advent by making angels. We will be talking more
about Mary and Joseph and their journey to Bethlehem. We will celebrate our
last days before vacation by throwing a birthday party for Jesus. We will be
reading lots of books about the Christmas season. And of course we will
throw in a little bit of Santa Clause too!
