What is the Friday packet?

Every Friday your child will take home all of his/her work at one
time. This is the Friday packet. There will be a cover sheet on
top with all of the papers listed on the page. There is also a
place on the bottom to list any missing work and an assessment of
their behavior for the week. This cover sheet must be signed by
a parent and returned by the following Tuesday.

Why must I sign the cover sheet?

Your signing the cover sheet shows me that you have seen and
reviewed all of your child's papers for the week. If you do not
sign and return the cover, it will be a missing assignment. You
do not need to sign and return papers with low grades. The
signed cover sheets will show me that you have seen ALL the
papers in that packet.

Are the papers in the packet the only work you have done this week?

No. The packet only lists papers going home, however we do many
lessons and assignments in notebooks, workbooks, and in groups
that are not listed at the top of the cover. Please note, if ANY
assignment (worksheet, notebook, workbook, etc.) is late or
missing it will be noted on the bottom of the cover sheet.

How can a parent contact you?

Parents are always encouraged to contact me with any problems or
questions. You can send a note in with your child or send me an
email. My email is sullo3b@yahoo.com. I try to check my email
at least once a day (usually evenings).

When is extra help?

In Grade 3, extra help is on Tuesday from 2:15-3:00. I alternate
extra help in Math and English. In order to stay for extra help,
your child must have a note giving your permission to stay for extra help.
All children must be picked up outside of the office at 3:00. Thank you for your cooperation.
