How are birthdays celebrated in the classroom?

On the day of your child's birthday, he/she will have the birthday bear at
his/her desk for the day. Your child may bring something to share with the class (pencils, stickers,
,small toys).
If your child's birthday falls on Saturday or Sunday, we will celebrate
his/her birthday on Friday or Monday.

How can parents help in the classroom?

There will be many opportunities throughout the year. I will need daily
center volunteers and reading volunteers. If you can't commit to a weekly
schedule, there will be many opportunities throughout the year to help with
parties, class projects and field trips.
