January Topic:
This month we will be discussing community outings, safety concerns, and
socialization. This will be a night that we will be able to give specific
strategies for the situations and concerns you presently have with these
topics. General strategies will also be given for the best ways to be a part
of the community with your child with ASD. What to do if you have trouble in
a store or restaurant, how to pre-pare before you go, socializing within the
community, and what safety precautions to take when you are in the community.
