Hello from the Taft Library!
I graduated from UMass/Amherst with a major in English, and a minor in
Music History. I received my Masters in Library Science from Simmons
College. I have been working in libraries almost all my life, starting as a
page in my Junior High library! I was Circulation/Reserve librarian at
Wheelock College, and I worked as Children's Librarian at two public
libraries. After a break to care for my now 21-year-old daughter and work
for my husband's veterinary practice, I began working as a school librarian,
a job I've enjoyed for 13 years now! In my "spare" time, I read, sing with
an a capella women's group, and dance salsa!
