Nancy Doyle
Ms. Doyle is a reading specialist at the
Taft Elementary School. This year she is working in grades 1, 3, and 4. Ms.
Doyle has been a teacher in the Uxbridge Schools
since 1987. She is certified as an elementary school teacher and reading
specialist as well as a trained Reading Recovery teacher.
Marla Sirois
Mrs. Sirois is a reading specialist at
the Taft Elementary School. She graduated with a Master's degree from Lesley
University. After serving as a classroom teacher in grades 1-3, she decidied
to focus her skills in literacy and now provides reading instruction to
students in grades 1 and 3. Mrs. Sirois has worked in the Uxbridge Public
Schools for sixteen years.
Joan Barrell
Mrs. Barrell is a reading specialist at
the Taft Elementary School. This year she is working with grades 2 and grade
4. She also teaches a specialized phonics program. Mrs. Barrell is certified
in the Wilson Reading System. This program helps students with decoding and
encoding skills. This is her fourteenth year in Uxbridge. She has been
teaching for fifteen years in grades 2 through 4 in two different schools. She
has a Master's degree in elementary education with a concentration in reading.
