Welcome to semester one of the 2008-2009 school year! I hope everyone

The following are the assignments for the week of 9/10/08 - 9/14/08:
1)Students should complete problem 1-8, page 41-43 textbook, page 37-52
workbook. This assignment is to be completed in the workbook not on the
computer.
The following are the assignments for the week of 9/15/08 - 9/19/08:
1)Students should finish problem 1-8, page 41-43 textbook, page 37-52
workbook. This assignment is to be completed in the workbook not on the
computer.
2)Once assignment is completed in textbook students should complete 1-8 on
the computer using glencoe accounting.
3)Once problem 1-8 is completed, students should complete Chapter 1
reinforcement problem 1A on page 772 in the textbook and pages 725-728 in
the workbook.
4)Students should define chapter 1 key terms, page 36 in the textbook.
Students should define terms in MS Word. Save file as "chapter 1 key terms".
5) Students should answer understanding accounting concepts and procedures
questions 1-10 on page 36. Students should type out questions and answer in
MS Word. Students should save file as "concepts and procedures chapter 1".
The following are the assignments for the week of 10/1/08 - 10/5/08:
1) Students are to work on 10 column worksheet in MS Excel. Students are to
copy 10 column worksheet on page 50-51 in textbook.
2) Students are to add General Journal adjusting entries on page 52 to their
reference guide.
3)Students are to add formulas on pages 56-58 to reference guide.
The following are the assignments for the week of 10/9/07 - 10/12/07:
1) Students are to complete the 10 column worksheet in MS Excel. Students
are to copy 10 column worksheet on page 50-51 in textbook. Students are to
complete Income Statement, and Balance Sheet in their workbooks.
The following are the assignments for the week of 10/15/07 - 10/19/07:
1) Students are to complete problem 2-8, 10 column worksheet in workbook.
Students are to copy 10 column worksheet into MS Excel to complete the
Income Statement, and Balance Sheet.
2) Students are to complete Raposa's 10 column W/S & Financial Statements.
3) Students are to complete Partnership's 10 column W/S & Financial
Statements.
The following are the assignments for the week of 10/22/07 - 10/26/07:
1) Students are to complete Raposa's 10 column W/S & Financial Statements.
2) Students are to complete Partnership's 10 column W/S & Financial
Statements.
3) Students are to define key terms on page 66 in MS Word. Students are to
save file as Chapter 2 key terms.
4) Students are to complete Understanding Accounting Concepts and Procedures
on page 66. Students are to type out questions and answer in MS Word.
Thursday, October 25, 2007:
1) Students are to create a crossword puzzle in MS Excel. Students should
use all vocab terms form chapter 2, page 66, 10 accross and 10 down.
Student must type out definitions in MS word to coordinate with crossword
puzzle.
Friday, October 26, 2007:
1) Students are to complete crossword puzzle, exchange crossword with
another student and complete blank puzzle.
2) Students are to complete "Conducting an Audit with Alex" on page 37 and
page 67.
3) Students are to complete "Internet Connections" on page 37 and page 67.
The following are the assignments for the week of 11/13/07 - 11/16/07:
1) Students are to continue working on Sunshine Accounting Project.
2) If students complete Sunshine, they should start defining vocabulary
terms for chapter 3.
The following are the assignments for the week of 11/26/07 - 11/30/07:
1) Students are to complete Audit Test for Sunshine Gardens. Students
should use the Glencoe Accounting and Excel files for obtaining the answers.
2) Students are to define chapter 3 key terms on page 108 in MS Word.
Students are to save file as Chapter 3 key terms.
3) Students are to complete Understanding Accounting Concepts and Procedures
on page 108. Students are to type out questions and answer in MS Word.
4) Students are to complete Internet Connections on page 109.
Thursday, November 29th:
1) Students are to continue working on Microhelper Corp.

1) Students are to continue working on Outerbanks Simulation.
