Congratulations to all Thomas Prince Students who participated at the meet in
Paxton. Your continued support is wonderful.
We placed second overall in the group round out of the four middle schools.
Congratulations to Cutler Arbon, Pieper Brockelman, and Emma Yanco for the
excellent team work.
Emma Yanco also placed second in the individual round for seventh graders.
Congratulations Emma!
A big thank you to Mrs. Brockelman, Mrs. Masterman, Mr. Allard and Mr. Yanco
for driving our students to and from the meet. We rely on your kindness to
participate at these meets.

I would like to thank all the TPS families who made donations to our home
math meet December 12th. We hosted three middle schools from the district
and your support both before and during is greatly appreciated.
A special thank you to Mrs. Arbon and Mrs. Connolly for their help setting
and cleaning up for our meet.
Congratulations to Emma Yanco and Megan McGahey for placing in the 7th grade
individual round!

Congratulations Jennifer Union and Emma Yanco! They tied for third place in
the individual round for 7th grade at the Mountview Math Meet.
Mathletes is an extracurricular activity that is open to ALL 7th and 8th
graders. We will begin meeting on TUESDAYS in October - this is a change
from last year. Students may attend any/all meetings. Attendance is not
required at weekly meetings to participate in district meets. Math Meets are
all on Mondays. Parents please email me if you would like to be added to an
email distribution list for updates, volunteering to drive, and snack/drink
donations for our home meet.
Our Math Meets are as follows:
October 17th at Mountview
December 12th at Home
January 23rd at Paxton Center
February 13th at Chocksett
March 19th at TBD
April 30th at WRSD High School
Any scheduled Math Meet that happens to become a Snow Day will be the
following Tuesday.
Mathletes will be every other Tuesday after school from 3 - 4 p.m. The dates
are:
October 4th
November 1st
November 15th
November 29th
January 10th
January 31st
February 28th
March 13th
April 3rd
April 24th
May - Ice Cream Social - Date TBD
