CLASSROOM POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
1. Respect fellow students, classroom materials, and the
classroom/school at all times.
2. The results of tests, quizzes, and graded assignments will
compromise the majority of each rating period. A grade reflecting homework
and participation will make up the remainder of the marking period. All
tests, quizzes, and homework assignments will be announced in advance and
posted on the web.
3. It is necessary that students keep a three-ring binder with this
page being the first page in it, and 5 dividers inside the binder for
vocabulary, homework, notes from class, plain paper, and tests/quizzes. I
will check periodically students binders without previous notice.
4. All students are expected to come prepared to class each day. It is
essential that students bring everyday to class the 3 ring binder, homework
done, plain paper, pens or pencils, an eraser, markers or color pencils, a
glue stick, a ruler, and the textbook covered and named.
5. All work will be graded according to the school standard. Extra
credit opportunities are not available.
6. All assignments are expected on the given due dates. Students are
responsible for any work missed due to an absence. Students will have to
check the make up work tray located in the classroom, make up all the work
missed, and return it the next day. If a student is absent on a test or quiz
date, he/she has take it on the first day he/she returns. If a student
misses more than three assignments each term, he/she will have to stay
during lunch.
7. Students must use a black/blue ink pen when taking a test/quiz.
8. The Spanish class welcomes all kind of donations from students and for
the students such as old newspapers, old magazines, tissues, hand
sanitizers, magnets for a magnetic chalkboard (any kind/size), board games
and cards, plastic food.
The goal in these classes is to have fun while learning Spanish.
