What do I do if I want to apply to a private high school or Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School?

We know that applying to a private school can be overwhelming and stressful
(and a bit exciting). We would be happy to fill out recommendations forms and
send out transcripts for you. However, we ask that you take the following
steps to assist us:

1.Stop by the guidance office to let your guidance counselor know which
schools you intend to apply to.
2.Fill out the “permission to send” form (available in the guidance
office and main office) and return it to your guidance counselor as soon as
possible.
3.Provide your guidance counselor with 4 stamps per transcript request.
4.Kindly ask your teacher to fill out your recommendation. Please
provide each teacher with one stamped, addressed envelope (with Trottier as the
return address) for each recommendation.
5.All private school transcript request forms should be handed in to
your guidance counselor by December 2nd. All recommendation forms must be
given to your teachers by December 2nd. Those forms received after December
2nd are not guaranteed to be completed by the deadlines established by the
private schools.

Students applying to Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School would
benefit from attending the Admission Information Night / Exhibit Night on
December 2nd from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Please
visit www.assabettech.com for detailed information on their programs,
admissions process, and important dates.
