When I rewrite a math test or quiz, what do I do?

1. Meet with Mrs. C. before or after school to discuss your test. You will
probably do some practice problems on the board and may be asked to explain
your strategies to Mrs. C. or to other students.
2. Using the rewrite paper as your prompt, give a detailed explanation of
your mistake and the strategies you need to solve it. Then write the correct
solution, showing your steps.
3. Have a parent sign your test if your score was below 70 percent.
4. If there is a change in this system it will be announced before the test so
listen carefully for directions.

What must I show on my social studies homework?

Almost all homework questions will call for a paragraph in response. Use
good paragraph structure. This means complete sentences. You should have a
topic sentence, 3-5 supporting details and a closing or summary sentence.
At first, I will be looking for a few details to support your opener. By
the third term, you should be able to tell me IMPORTANT details: Why is this
person or event being remembered? How did it affect history? What does it
teach us about events today?

When I rewrite a social studies test, what must I do?

Most of the time you will do the following: Using your textbook, prepare a new
and better answer for the question. Write on lined paper. Use good
paragraphs with supporting facts or details. If you have any questions,
check in with Mrs. Clement before the deadline.
If there is any change to this system, it will be announced when tests are
returned, so listen carefully for directions.
