1. Please respect fellow students, classroom materials, and the
classroom at all times.
2. The results of tests, quizzes, and graded assignments will comprise
the majority of each rating period grade. Tests and graded assignments will
be announced in advance and posted on Mrs. Okacha’s website. A grade
reflecting homework and participation will make up the remainder of the
marking period.
3. It is necessary that each student keeps a three-ring binder with this
page being the first page in it. The binder will serve to store, loose-leaf
note book, tests, quizzes, homework, and class notes.
4. All work will be scored according to the school standard. On report
cards, I will round up grades when appropriate. Any grade with a .5 or higher
will be rounded to the next whole number. There are no extra credit
opportunities available. These opportunities are already incorporated
throughout the course and various assignments.
5. All assignment are expected on the given due dates, YOU are
responsible for any work missed due to an absence. Please see me apart from
instructional time in regards to work you missed. If you are absent on a test
date, expect to take the test on the first day of your return.
6. All students are expected to come prepared to class each day.
Students must have their binder, homework assignment, utensils, and any other
materials every day.
