What is FACS?

"FACS" stands for Family & Consumer Science. It is where students
learn basic but necessary life skills that can last a lifetime! Nutrition,
cooking, time management, budgeting, health and well-being, consumerism,
fashion, sewing, crafts, and... entrepreneurship! That's FACS biz!

Do I have to purchase anything for this course? No.

No. We give the students the opportunity to pick out their own cloth for
their "Big Sewing Project," but
it is not mandatory. I will gladly go to the Fabric store and purchase fun
fabrics that I think the
students will like.

Where can I find a fabric store if I choose to pick out my own cloth?

Most Walmarts have low cost fabric, fleece, and pillow stuffing
JoAnn's Fabrics, Rt. 9 in Natick and in Shrewsbury
Don't buy anything too costly. Even an old sheet makes a comfy pair of pj
