Our Trip to Canada

Nous sommes ici au Canada! (Herer we are in Canada!)

We are hoping to keep you informed of our adventures here in Canada.

Itineraire:

APRIL 1

Notre hôtel: Chateau Bellevue

La Ville fortifiée- this is the only walled city in North America!

Musée du fort- a historic recreation of the famous battle on the plains of Abraham

Le Café Buade-This is our first dinnner location!

Le Soldat de la tour- This is an interactive competition meant to depict military lifestyle circa 1812.

APRIL 2

Huron Village-traditional Canadian breakfast

Montmorency Falls Park- these are higher than Niagara Falls, located on the Beaupré Coast

Copper museum (musée de cuivre)-A demonstration of "repoussée" work, hands on activities

Sugar shack- authentic Canadian sugar shack, for dinner!

APRIL3

Le Parlementaire (the Parliament)-impresive breakfast in the house of Parliament of Canada, where the leaders of this nation make all of their decisions!

Artillery Park- Take on an interactive theatrical role for a presentation as we have tea in the British Officers' mess

Place Royale- a stroll through Canada's oldest neighborhood.

Return to Uxbridge!

All is well here in Canada. We have been touring until 10PM each day with walking tours, reenactments, and enjoying traditional Canadian cuisine. Due to technical problems we have been unable to download our pictures. However on our return we will sift out our difficulties and attach the pictures to this site.
