How can my child improve their grade?
Ms. Rubin has general help sessions every Tuesday & Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:30PM in the Biology Classroom.
Have your child come after school for help or assistance in understanding difficult concepts.
Can my child do extra credit work to improve their grade?
Have your child see Ms. Rubin at the help session. Typically, she will have
your child develop an assignment that relates to a better understanding of a
particular concept that was difficult for them to originally comprehend.
What if we do not have a computer at home?
That's OK. The web-site is a tool to retrieve missing assignments or enhance
interactive learning with the Internet for your child. It also serves as a
reference for parents if you wish to see what your child is learning in class.
If and when we have computer assignments it will be done with computer buddies
and scheduled use of the computer lab. (Your student will be matched with a
student who has home access if she/he forgets their assignment they can
contact their computer buddy to look it up.)
If more time is needed for assignments, just like any homework assigned, we
have computers in the school library as well as our Town Library.
This web-site is a communication tool to make the learning of topics more
interesting as well as clear up uncertainty of any homework assignments.
--Feel free to check it daily to see what your child's homework is.
On a trip and left the homework at home.
If you are on the road and forgot the homework, dont worry, you can easily
down load most homework assignments to any Library or Hotel or Home based
computer! (Most homework assignments are uploaded.) **If it is not
available kindly e-mail me so I have a heads up.
I would like to offer a suggestion to the site.
