The following is the list of assignments I would like students to complete over the summer.
When planning summer adventures, please be mindful of the assignment due dates so that
everything is completed prior to the start of school in September. Please feel free to contact me via
email using the mailbox link from the homepage with any questions you may have regarding the
assignments (kids, please check with a grown-up prior to sending an email).
Math and cursive packet: Please complete the provided math and cursive packet prior to the start of
school in September. The packet should be returned to Ms. O'Brien on the first day of school.
Reading: Each student must read at least one of the following three books: George's Marvelous
Medicine (Roald Dahl), Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (Judy Blume), or A Year Down Yonder
(Richard Peck) over the summer. Students should be prepared to be assessed on their chosen book
at the onset of school in September. Please note, one of the above mentioned books must be
read by first day of school.
