I'm very excited to be returning for my second year teaching within the
Plymouth Public Schools! Last year was filled with many wonderful
experiences: meeting and working with the students and staff of both Federal
Furnace and West Elementary Schools and collaborating with colleagues to
infuse technology in classroom curriculum. I'm looking forward to the year
ahead to build and improve upon what we started together! Before coming to
Plymouth, I taught within the Dartmouth Public Schools for twelve years. I
had the pleasure of teaching students in grades 2, 4, 5, 6 and middle school
technology grades 6, 7 and 8.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State
College in 1992. I finished my Master's Degree in Instructional Technology
in 2005 from Framingham State College. I hold Massachusetts professional
teaching licenses in elementary education 1-6, middle school education 5-9
and instructional technology grades K-12.
I live locally with my husband and two children. I have two pets, a female
Saint Bernard named Millie and a male Saint Bernard puppy named Moose. Check
out their pictures on my pet page! My family LOVES the RED SOX! When the SOX
are playing, you can bet we are either watching them on t.v. or listening to
the game on the radio--that is if we're not at FENWAY!
Here are a few of my favorite things:
Color--Green
Food--Chocolate and potatoes--but not at the same time!
T.V. Show--American Idol or any RED SOX game!
Children's Book--This is a tough one! I guess any of the Harry Potter books
or Bridge to Terabithia.
Movie--Another tough one! I love all of the Star Wars movies but I also
really like Seabiscuit and Field of Dreams.
Season--Fall
Ice Cream--Monster Mash
Thing to do when I'm alone--Read or surf the web
Sport--Why BASEBALL of course!

machine can replace the human spark of spirit, compassion, love, and
understanding."
