Woodworking 10G
 
An introductory course to woodworking technology.
This course focuses specifically on familiarizing the student with;
   1.  Sketching - as a vehicle for planning and communicating.
   2.  General lab and machine safety procedures
   3.  Creative problem solving and design - responding to problems in a methodical and organized manner.
   4.  Woodworking - as an opportunity to verify ideas in a three dimensional form.
 
Woodworking 20G
 
A second year course that reviews and continues to use the problem solving process in the design and construction of a piece of furniture.
This course focuses specifically on familiarizing the student with;
   1.  Workplace health and safety - to provide workplace safety and health information to young workers to achieve long-         term reductions of occupational injury and disease.
   2.  Furniture building - students design and construct a piece of furniture to suite a specific need.
 
Woodworking 30S/40S
 
An advanced woodworking course.
This course focuses specifically on familiarizing students with;
   1.  The construction trade - to provide students with a general outlook to the different areas of the residential construction
         trade.
   2.  Advanced furniture building.
