Do I need to bring in an excuse when absent?

Yes, give the excuse to the first period teacher who will give you an excuse 
TO SHOW TO ALL YOUR TEACHERS WITHIN TWO CLASS PERIODS IN ORDER TO BE EXCUSED 
IN THOSE CLASSES.

How do I get make up work when absent?

Check the homework site either at home or at the class computer as soon as 
you return to class. Then, if you don't understand anything or if the site 
tells you to get something from me, then you ask me for help or for the item.

How can I be successful?

Be on task in class all the time.
Review and practice, especially on the website.
