If you would like to receive newsflash notices from time to time, e.g., to
announce when grades are uploaded, etc., click on the icon for News Flash
and follow the directions there.

OLDER INFORMATION:
Please know that students have regular homework and should be studying to
put the language into long term memory. And my Web Page Current Work Link
is their friend.
Students should have their notebooks organized with their colored grammar in
grammar section and colored vocabulary sheets in vocabulary section. They
need to be able to refer to them throughout the year because language
learning always builds on and recycles old material and they have to be able
to refer to that.
If your son or daughter is having trouble with tests because they don't
understand sentences in the test, they can practice on my website under Exam
Review because that is where I move all old practices. They need the old
words to learn and test the new material. It would also help them to come
after school to go over old tests.
If there is any chance your son or daughter is not doing homework, check the
homework site on this page. There are some general guidelines a the top.
That will give you a heads up if they are not doing it. There is always
something to study.
Please remind your son or daughter that now is the time to do what they need
to do for their second quarter grade, not at the end of second quarter.
Read below for a reminder of the helps.
Please note that if students are having any trouble, they can practice on
the website under Current Work and/or come to tutoring by National Honor
Society any Tuesday after school or by me on other days.
Students who are having trouble should be practicing on the website that
they should have bookmarked (See the Links
Icon on this home page). The conjugation site is especially helpful. If
they did not get to try it yet (some did this week), they will be able to do
so on Tuesday in class. What they have done while I was gone was just to
practice and there were no new concepts. They just need to practice. There
is free ntutoring by French and Spanish National Honor Society after school
on Tuesdays, probably starting this Tuesday. I will verify that on Friday.
And of course, I am available after school on other days for help.
IF YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER typically DOES NOT DO HOMEWORK, please check the
homework site. You can link to it from the Homework Icon on this main page.
VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER:
The beginning of the year is very important in a subject that builds on old
material, as do a foreign language and math. So I hope they will take
advantage of the meaningful activities I have left for them.
