Mr. Rosen has been teaching and directing at AHS since 1997. He has directed
many, many plays and musicals, a few of which he wrote, almost all of which he
produced as well, and sometimes designed the scenery, too.
He began teaching after completing his MA in theatre arts in 1984 (University
of Maryland, College Park: Provost Fellow). He is a graduate of St. John's
College, Annapolis (1982), and Winston Churchill High School, Potomac.
He enjoys acting and computers. He has performed with Howard County Summer
Theater since 2007, alongside three or more family members each summer. He
directs The Slayton House Theatre Conservatory in the summer. He is married
and the father of six children.
