Mrs. Drozinski, better known by all as "Mrs. D," is in her eleventh year at
Carroll Lutheran School. Prior to teaching at CLS, Mrs. D. had 15 years of
classroom teaching experience from her positions in Baltimore City and
Carroll County Public Schools. In between teaching opportunities, Jane was
a stay-at-home mother to her three children. She and husband Rick live in
the Hampstead area with their children and family pets,
Lois, the turtle and Felix Ann, a precocious cat. The Drozinski's are
active members of Grace United Methodist Church in Hampstead where Jane
chairs the Mission/Outreach committee and helps teach Sunday School and
VBS. Jane also enjoys reading historical fiction, vacationing, and
participating in her church's mission trips.
Welcome to First Grade at Carroll Lutheran School!
Our Class Chant:
First grade is really cool! The best class in our school!
We're reading, writing, singing, too. Mrs. D. is proud, that's true!
We work hard and try our best. Learning's fun, we can attest.
The first grade, it is first-rate. We're having a year that's great!
First grade, first grade, first grade!
Our Special First Grade Friend:
Come and meet our class stuffed frog and mascot, Rainbow Puddle Frog.
He helps us with our manners and reminds us of first grade expectations.
He enjoys sitting at first graders desks from time to time.
But his favorite thing to do is to spend the weekend with each first grader
when they are class ALL-Star! Ribbit!
I look forward to watching first graders grow academically as well as
spiritually and socially. First graders are responsible, enthusiastic
learners!
