WEEK OF MAY 20-24

Your children need to be commended for how well they continue to work.  We are in our last science unit (insects), and we're finishing up faith studies.  We are moving ahead quickly in math so that we can hit the concepts that are really important for second-graders going into third grade.  Every day the children come in ready to learn and complete their assignments.  What a great group!

Thanks so much to all of you for making Teacher Appreciation Week so special.  Your generosity was touching.

What a great trip we had to Washington!  The weather was perfect, and the museums seemed to be of interest to all the students and chaperones.  It was so good for me to hear that some of our families are planning to go back this summer.  Thank you, Parents, for all your help.
