Please check your child's RED folder each night for daily information or check this website (especially Announcements and Calendar) for more information. How is homework handled in Third Grade?
Each week's homework packet will come home on Monday and be due back onFriday. Please be sure to work with your child to complete the work throughout the week (not all on the last night). The homework is usually a review of the past week's lessons. We may have occasionally have mini-projects that require parental assistance. There is a daily requirement for reading that your child will log and return each Friday. Spelling words are generally assigned on Monday and tested on Friday.Back to Top

We encourage your child to celebrate their special day with their class. Youmay bring in a special snack for the morning snack time (e.g., muffins,cupcakes,cookies, fruit snack, popsicles)-- no whole cakes please. Your family may choose to celebrate by donating a special book to the CLS Library; the child or parent may read the book to our class.Back to Top
