How is homework handled in Fourth Grade?
Each week's homework packet will come home on Monday and be due back onFriday. Please be sure to work with your child to complete the work throughout the week (not all on the last night). The homework is usually a review of the past week's lessons. We may have occasionally have mini-projects that require parental assistance. There is a daily requirement for reading that your child will log on their ???? and return each Friday. Spelling words are assigned on Monday and tested on Friday; children may have different spelling lists.Back to Top

What is allowed for Birthday celebrations?
We encourage your child to celebrate their special day with their class. Youmay bring in a special snack for the morning snack time (e.g., muffins,cupcakes,cookies, fruit snack, popsicles)-- no whole cakes please. Your family may choose to celebrate by donating a special book to the CLS Library; the child or parent may read the book to our class.Back to Top
