During the 2011-2012 school year the Middle School is proud to offer English
I in addition to the 6-7-8 grade Integrated Language Arts (ILA) courses.
Students will spend 55 minutes daily in their ILA class. Grammar, Spelling
and Vocabulary, Writing and Reading skills will be taught.

A Reading Log will be kept by students to record their personal reading
goals. Each day a minimum of 30 minutes should be spent reading - 15 minutes
during study hall and 15 minutes at home. These minutes should be recorded on
the Reading Log and turned in on the assigned date.
