~MY DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK~
My dog ate my homework.
That mischievous pup
got hold of my homework
and gobbled it up.
My dog ate my homework.
It's gonna be late.
I guess that the teacher
will just have to wait.
My dog ate my homework.
He swallowed it whole.
I shouldn't have mixed it
with food in his bowl.

Mrs. Horst and Mrs. Rettman give out homework twice a week, usually on
Monday and Wednesday. The goal is to return the assignment in one or two
days. There will be long-range projects for each theme. Directions on
completing these tasks are given with the assignment, as well as a picture
presentation of projects that we have received in previous years. We
encourage all families to address questions and concerns directly to Mrs.
Rettman through e-mail or a note can be sent with your child. We will try
very hard to respond in a timely manner.
We certainly see a direct correlation between student achievement and
reinforcement at home! Many thanks for helping your children to set up good
habits for future years. And, always remember to read, read, read to your
children every day!
