Do you have free play everyday?

Yes, every first grade class has at least 15 minutes of free play 
everyday.  
On the days when the weather is acceptable, the students will 
play outside on 
the playground.

Should the yellow Churchville folder come home every night?

Yes, your child should bring home his or her yellow Churchville 
folder each 
night.  This folder contains your child's homework for that 
evening.  Please 
make sure that the folder is returned to school the next day.

How do I communicate with my child's teacher?

You can send any correspondence to your child's teacher in the 
yellow 
homework folder.  These folders are checked daily by your child's 
teacher.  
You can also call the school and leave a message for your child's 
teacher and 
she will return the phone call as soon as possible.
