Teacher’s Comments
Conferences are this week. If you scheduled a conference, I will see you
there. If not, that is fine too. I will send home some of the materials
covered at the conferences for you. In case you hadn’t heard from the
students, I will be taking a few days off for surgery. It is minor sinus
surgery relating to my annoying allergy issues, but I will be off work for
about a week. There will be a substitute, Mrs. McKindra, to cover all aspects
of my classes. I have rearranged some of the order of lessons over the next
few weeks, so don’t be surprised if it seems out of order. There are some
lessons I will move up or back to ensure I do the instruction of them either
before or after I am out. I will also do a review to make sure everybody is
up to speed once I return. I know the students will do fine while I am gone.
I will send out a double Weekly Update next week to have everybody know what
will be going on the entire time I am out. If for some reason, like snow, we
miss a day of school… everything will just be pushed back however many days we
miss.
