2009-2010 marks the 7th year at FQMS! I am looking forward to the start of a
brand new year. I can hardly believe that we have been here that long! This is
a terrific group of teachers, and I am proud to be a member of the sixth grade
team.
When I'm not thinking, dreaming, and breathing school, I love to spend time
with my family, read a great book, or cook a yummy meal. My husband, an
American Government teacher at Marriotts Ridge High School, and I
spend most of our time playing with our daughter, Kaelin, born in March 2006
and our son, Ethan, born in May 2009. We are truly blessed!

I am certified by the state of Maryland to teach grades 1 - 8 with additional
certification in Middle Level English (6 -8). I hold a Masters Degree in
Curriculum and Instruction; emphasis in Administration and Supervision.
MRS. AULT'S EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY:
I believe that it is my job as an educator to bring students to a place where
they are able to not only think critically, but become critical readers and
writers. Students will be challenged and pushed to reach their highest
potential in my class. All children can write effectively and express their
ideas in such a way that invites others to participate in the experience.
