About The Teacher

Hello parents and students! My name is Marlyn T. Gesmundo and I am the eight 
grade mathematics teacher for the  school year 2008-2009.

I am from the Philippines and currently on my fourth year 
as a Math Teacher in the Baltimore City Public School System.  I taught  
high school math and computer in the Philippines for 12 years.  I also 
underwent Mathematics training in Japan for a year and a half as a recipient 
of the Japanese Government (MONBUKAGAKUSHO) scholarship program before 
coming to the US to teach. 

I believe that teaching is a privilege, as well as a tremendous 
responsibility.  I will do my best this year to ensure that each student has 
a motivating and exciting learning experience in the classroom.
