GHS PTSA
The PTSA Board meets every second Monday of the Month during the school year
in the GHS Media Center. The PTSA will have its next meeting on Monday,
June 9, 2008 at 7PM at the El Azetca Restaurant. To add discussion items to
the agenda, please contact Johnnie Nussbaum or any of the members of the
executive board.
Listserv Information:
The listserv is a communication tool used by the GHS community to
disseminate information pertaining to GHS and the community at
large. When posting, please keep your messages appropriate and
relating to school or community news.
Our moderators' scans the posting and member list for inappropriate
posting and will remove and ban anyone miss using the site.
Unfortunately, because of the nature of the internet and our goal of
open communication, we don't always catch every inappropriate posting
prior to its release. However, once they are identified the user are
immediately removed and banned.
When responding to a posting, please respond directly to the person
sending the email. You can do this by highlighting their email
address and hitting the reply or send to button. By doing this you
help cut down on the number of emails sent to the group and the
possibility of personal information inadvertently being post for all
to see.
The listserv also allows you to view the posting in a digest format.
This will allow you to group all the posting from the day or week
into one email. Once you open the digest email, you can select the
postings that you wish to view. To set your delivery option to a
digest format, log on to your yahoo groups and modify your account
profile by selecting "send as digest." If you have difficult
accessing the site or need further assistance, please contact Johnnie
Nussbaum @ jnussb9427@aol.com or Mary Hedlesky @ gsdog75@yahoo.com .
The Sword and Shield Newsletter:
The GHS PTSA newsletter is published 5 times a year, in September,
January, March and May. The newsletter offers information on
upcoming events, progress at the school and community related news.
The GHS PTSA and GHS Boosters Club:
The GHS PTSA and GHS Boosters Club work independently and
cooperatively to ensure the well being and safety of our students,
staff and community. While our focuses are slightly different, our
goals are the same. We encourage you to get involved with and support
both groups.
You can access information about and contacts for the GHS PTSA on the
school's website and at
